in our small corner of Hartlepool where people of all ages & abilities go boating! If you are an experienced enthusiast or a complete beginner, come & join us! You don’t have to be a member to learn sailing & vice versa you don’t have to like water to be a member! Our members, guests & visitors all enjoy different aspects of our exciting & vibrant Club!
THYC run a very busy RYA recognised training centre which is open to the community. You can learn to sail at weekly sessions, take an RYA sailing or Powerboating course or book a group session for your school or club.
We hold regular open days, taster sessions & training courses throughout the summer months & RYA Level 2 Powerboat Courses throughout the year. The open days are free , training courses are at very competitive rates & we can teach you to sail from as little as £5 per session - what are you waiting for?
